Starting

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Have problems starting my car after it has been started once. After sitting for a few hours it won't fir up. It takes
about 6-7 times of cranking it before it will start. Chanced the plugs, and cables , new fuel filter. Took it to a
mechanic shop and they could not find it. The car will also stall at stop signs. Can anyone help with a solution, I
would appreciate. My car is 1997 with 70,000 some miles on it.
