Fix what is causing it to go into limp mode! Could be a bad timing chain(s). Limp mode limits RPMs until whatever is wrong is fixed. If timing is off, it can destroy an engine, so don't just reset a computer and expect engine to start working again.

Could be out of gas. So many other things could of been wrong and i get timing chain? Anyways, was wrong. Got fixed. Maybe you shouldn't jump to major repair thoughts and try simple ones first next time????

Running out of gas isn't going to put you in limp mode.
