Bottom knock,s are usually the main ,or rod bearing,s,if truck is in good shape other than the knock, might be worth repairing the bearing,s,but in some case,s if crank has been scarred ,it will have to be replaced or trued and bigger bearing,s installed, sorry no quick fix for this.

Did it knock before the hose broke? If not it sure makes me wonder if it overheated and you didn't know it. Sometimes if coolant is not surrounding the sensor you can have an overheat condition and it not register on the temperature gauge. If it indeed overheated you may have more damage than bearings will fix. Probably the only way to find out is tear it apart.

bob, as soon as it blew and fluids immediately sprayed out on windshield, i immediately shut it down, it wouldnt start back-up for a day after repairs cuz the coil packs were wet, and after drying and repairing it began to knock

Heck maybe running a compression test or leak down test to assess the condition of the cylinder bore and rings would be in order. It is interesting that it didn't knock before the fluid came out. I wonder if a head gasket blew, pressurizing the cooling system causing the hose to blow.
