Problem is the filter is in the tank on the fuel pump module (which you can access from under the back seat). A fuel pressure and volume check would be a good idea to see if it starts to starve for fuel, the fuel injection relay can also go bad over time as well as the fuel pressure regulator (also part of the fuel pump module).
