Oil pressure

My oil pressure on my 2012 is fluctuating all of a sudden,
use to stay at 40 now tonight I noticed at 60 while driving.  
Should I be concerned

I don't know much about Chevy to be honest BUT I can tell you that motors work by means of pressure. the harder you make the motor work, the more pressure it is on the pistons,etc. the oil pump is working and based on how hard you are on it, it has to work harder and so forth. Therefore, the more RPM s you demand on the gas pedal the oil pump has to put recycle the oil back and forth. the oil pressure will be higher than usual based on demand. i hope this helps.
