Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My truck has been at the dealership for 3 weeks
now and they havent been able to connect the
keyless entry fob to the win module to activate
keyless entry and they had replaced the win
module and still wont respond to the fob. Any idea
what could be wrong?

When dealing with the Dealer it's best to wait for the vehicle if it's an older model. Unless, of course, it's a major repair that can take more than a day. The problem is they're not really interested in working on a 10 year old vehicle. When I take my 94 Fleetwood in for something I always wait for it and the Dealer hates it. Too bad! If you can, pick up the vehicle and go to another Dealer or go there and let them know you're camping out there for the day or until it's fixed. Whichever comes first! Don't be afraid to make a big fuss about this! There's no reason why they've had your vehicle for 3 weeks!! Hope that helps! Jim

Jay i had got the battery replaced back in mid June with a Duralast Platinum battery when my computer went into anti theft mode and had to get the computer replaced at the same dealership.
