cigar lighter

My lighter is old and looks to be rusted out.. I bought a universal Lighter to replace it . it looks simple
enough.
I have the book to the car but cant find out how to replace it.

Some lighter sockets have a barrel that screws on. Some have plastic tabs that have to be released to remove them.
