Ford Fusion has oil in spark plugs and coil

2012 Ford Fusion sale 4 cylinder. It would not
start. It was making a clicking noise. Tried to
jump it. Would not start. Took battery to
charge it. It was dead. Got a new on put it in.
It started but the RPM needle kept jumping.
Got it steady. Then we took it for a drive. It
dies when we r stopped at a light or stop sign.
Starts right back up. Acts like not getting
power. Checked terminals they were
corroded. Cleaned them and it still done it.
Bought new terminals. Still does it. Checked
coil and spark plugs they are full of oil. What is
going on? Please help.

Oil on the coil and plugs indicates the valve cover gasket is probably leaking. Failed O rings at the bottom of the spark plug wells could also be the issue. If those are replaced and you still have issues, it could be a failed piston rings, failing piston or worn valve guides. I bet you have high mileage on that engine. Good luck on your repair.
