I doubt it fell off. Look at the exhaust pipes where it was. I bet they have been cut. Thieves like to steal these to recycle them. If it has been cut out check with your insurance company. Your insurance might cover it since it was stolen. Oh and don't drive it in this condition.
Ok after looking at your question again. An 02 sensor in front or back of the cat might have come off but still unlikely. Have you been off roading and might have snatched the wires loose from it?
