Died while driving down road then won't start- fuel related?

2002 Chrysler 300m. I was driving down the road
and it gave no warning and just died. I was able to
coast it off the road into parking lot and it will not
start back up. It's like it's not getting any gas. I had
a code reader hooked up and it shows "0 codes".
I've read that fuel pump or other fuel related probs
won't show up on a code reader. In looking at
forums others have said possible...
Fuel pump or fuel relay sensor (which there are 2)
Solenoid
Timing belt
Has anyone had this happen? And what was your
issue? What did you have to replace? And how do
you know which theory (or parts)  to replace? I
don't want to just start throwing money and parts
at it. I can't afford to. Any info would be greatly
appreciated! Thank you!

When you turn the key over, can you hear the fuel pump running or any electronic humming from under the car?

Thank you all for your suggestions and input. I am having it picked up and taken to a shop. I wanted to have a clue as to what my problem could be before it goes to shop. BroBen- yes I can hear it hum. I do think it's fuel related. I was just trying to find out what I'm up against, if anyone could steer me in general direction. Thanks for the input. I'll update with diagnosis and cost.

Well I got my diagnosis and it's not good. Damn interference motors. So the timing belt is in pieces, and they say I have an 80/20 shot of it killing the motor from it and the valves with this particular motor. If I change timing belt I have a 20% chance the motor might be ok. Less than 100,000 miles. Fml!

Fyi - If you have an interference motor change your timing belt at 60,000 miles. J/s. It may save your motor. I had no idea. I got less than 10,000 miles out of that car. It only has 95,000 total miles. Boo hoo!
