if i got a new battery and my alternator is good why won't my car start

my battery light came on . I drove about 30miles . then my car went dead . got a new battery check the alternator it check out to be fine car will not start

This may sound silly & you've probably checked the state of charge. These days new batteries come charged ...but recently I bought one & had the same problem ...it just needed a little more charging & was fine after that. If you don't have a charger ...give it a boost.
