Warming light convertible top 2012 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GS Sport

I recently purchased a used 2012 Mitsubishi
eclipse spyder gs sport with automatic
transmission.  It's running great, but when I put the
top up and close the latches in place then go to
drive the indicator light for the top flashes and
upon initial movement it beeps for several
seconds. This also happens if I break at a stop
light and it'll beep again when I resume movement.
When driving with the top up, it glasses the
indicator at a rate of approximately 2 times a
second. appears to be properly closed
and latched. When the top is open everything is fine.
Suggestions on how to fix it?

I have a 2007 eclipse Mitsubishi spider. My car was bumped from behind and my top won’t go up or down now. It just makes beeping noise when I press the button. Will you please send me a picture of the switch and EXACTLY how I can get to it
