Why are there 2 red and white wires at the key ignition switch?

Question type: General

Are there any wiring Diagram schematic and instructions manual for the
ignition switch wiring harness?

Without a wiring diagram it is hard to identify the wires. I am guessing that one of the red wires has a stripe to differentiate it from the other one. There are wiring diagrams available but you may have to buy a factory service manual to get an accurate one.

I'm sorry I wasn't clear before there are 2 wires in the ignition switch wiring harness and they are both red with a white strip
