I am not able to determine what the failure codes mean

Asked by LaceyJ68 Jul 14, 2015 at 02:46 PM about the 2006 BMW 3 Series 330xi Sedan AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My service engine soon light was on so I took it to my mechanic (not licensed BMW tech) and the two codes they are getting we cannot figure out what they mean. OX2FOD and OX2A82. He referred me to the BMW dealer but I simply cannot afford to pay $120 just for diagnosis through them. Any suggestions?

Go to Autozone and get the codes read, they will do it for free. Those are not OBD II codes that you provided.
