Why is check engine light on and shaking?

Asked by Joseline Sep 15, 2020 at 12:29 PM about the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee V8 5.7 4X2, it
suddenly started shaking and check engine light
came on. When I step on the gas it blinks but it
stays on. Recently we changed all spark plugs and
coils but it still shakes and has engine light on.

I would scan for the trouble codes since the light it on, You will then know why. Hook up a OBDii code scanner. Some auto parts store will do this for free. you can list them below and we can then try to help.
