Your 4 wheel drive system is designed to work part-time. Unless you are on a slippery surface (wet road, dirt, ice or mud) the drive train will bind and cause the wheels to hop and make all kinds of noises when turning. There is no differential between the front and rear drivelines. All 4 wheels and tires need to be of the same diameter. That being said: Get all 4 wheels off of the ground at the same time and check bearings, differential and transfer case fluids. Also check your ball joints and tie rods.
