2009 Chevy Impala heats up when AC is on.

I have a 2009 Chevy Impala. Recently I got  P0128 code pop up and replaced
my thermostat and flushed my coolant. But now when I turn on my A/C the car
starts to heat up very quickly. No codes pop up. I don't have 'Engine Hot A/C
Off' showing.

Check for blocked air flow through the radiator, dirt and bugs can restrict air flow. If it continues you may need to have the radiator flow tested.

Well, that code refers to the Engine Coolant Temperature sensor, not the thermostat. With a faulty ECTS, you throw the computer into confusion and that alone could be the cause of your problem. It could still be a clogged radiator, AC condenser, or frozen AC clutch or compressor.

When you flushed the cooling system did you make sure you got all the air out of the cooling system? Are the radiator cooling fans coming on? Most likely you have air trapped in the cooling system. Jim

One other thought, if the thermostat is installed upside down it will cause overheating as well. Jim
