What is the problem with my car, & how much should I expect to pay to have it fixed.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

In February, 2017, the day after an oil change, as I was driving down the street, a clicking noise (like a woodpecker) began.  The noise lasted about 90 seconds.  After that, the same thing would occur periodically.  Beginning two weeks ago, whenever I open a car door (driver, passenger, front or back) the clicking noise starts & lasts for 90 seconds.

Is the engine running when you hear that noise while opening a door? Do you see your dome lights flicker? Have you opened the hood and heard where the noise seems to be coming from? I doubt if anyone can give you a cost appraisal without a physical inspection
