can the shifter linkage be adjusted for the reverse to fit a new clutch?

i installed a new clutch, it works well. But now shifting into reverse shutting off the engine first. Before the new clutch, it was easy to miss the reverse gate but now it is near impossible to find.
Can the linkage be adjusted or the shift gate be adjusted?

Did you take the tranny to a shop to have it checked before you put it back in ?

i think it should be able to.. especially a automatic. not sure how on your model year tho .

If hard to get into Reverse after new clutch, release bearing may need to be bled. If there's ANY air at all in the system, the clutch won't release properly and you'll have trouble getting into gear
