Why is my new clutch not working right?

I just installed a stage 2 clutch in my cobalt ss. I bleed the
lines and seem to have no air. I start the car and sounds
great. But when I push the pedal to the floor it sounds like
the pressure plate is being pushed to far into the clutch
and.i cant shift it at all. But when I let the pedal up about
and inch or two the noises go away and it shifts fine. But
only shifts fine with the pedal just off the floor. Can anyone
help me out? The pedal cant be adjusted so I'm lost. Could
it just be air somewhere or something I need to worry
about.

Most parts manufacturers have a tech department you can call or email. They'll likely be able to solve your problem for you. There's probably an 800 number right on the box the clutch came in.
