Battery/alternator light

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I changed battery, alternator, battery cable ends,
alternator was from junk yard but tested good. The
light still comes on after starting. I've checked wire
from alternator to battery it's good. Please help!

Note the diagram. The bat terminal at generator is hot all the time, even with key off. Use a test light to check, is it hot. If it isn't maybe fusible link? Note the battery current sensor. See the f and l terminals at generator, 5 volts on l terminal, the pcm cycles that voltage to ground depending on charge needed. Do you have a meter that will check duty cycle? Any applicable trouble codes? that's all I know. good luck
