Why does the air conditioner blow out everywhere

Why does the AC blow out of
defroster the floor and the
vents at the same time

Explorers from 01-05 have issues with the defrost being stuck open mines like that too I know you have to do something underneath the hood with two hoses I did research on it forever ago I just ghetto fixed mine and shoved a flashlight and my vent so it would stick open so I get more air coming out of the front instead of at all going to the defroster
