The year that the 350 engine was made doesn't matter, it is the electronics , wiring harness, sensors and fuel delivery system that makes the difference, all of which in most cases can be used from your old engine. Being sure that all gaskets and connections are secure and free of leaks will help insure a successful transplantation of a new engine.
