Can't figure out why my starter keeps going out on my 1998
Chevrolet silverado 1500 ext cab this is my 3rd starter

heat from the exhaust ? My 94 had a small heat shield on the starter covering the wires and solenoid , cheap rebuilt starters from auto zoo can't take the heat
