I can not get my oil pan nut off of my 1999 Buick Lesabre, it turns but it doesn't come off, what can I do to get it iff?

Use channel lock pliers and pull out on it as you turn it. Threads stripped. When putting back on use new bolt and washer. Might even have to use two washers to get it to grip. Use caution not to over tighten. Hope this helps

Is it a stud that the nut is on? If it is in a tight spot you can use a dremmel tool with a cut off disk to cut the nut.
