The servo motor driving the needle in the instrument cluster has gone bad. Look into having the cluster rebuilt.

I was having the same problem and I replaced the speed sensor and it rectified the problem on my 2003 Buick Century.

2003 Buick century. I was having the same problem and replaced the speed sensor a few weeks ago. The car was fine after that but now it's doing the same thing as before but only while turning right. Any suggestions on why this is happening would be great.
