i have to use my high beam for lights but i have no low beams..what could be the problem

If you have bulbs that contain both low and high filaments, your low could be blown.

Your car has a relay that switches the lights between HI and LOW it could be stuck or bad, there will be several relays in a box somewhere in the engine compartment
