My 93 camaro is trying to start on its own without the key or anything but the battery hooked up what could possibly be wrong???

The cars tries to start once I hook the battery on no
key in the ignition what can cause it to do that??

The starter power wire is grounding out on the starter which will eventually melt the power wire I had to replace the power wire with the new end connector
