help with wiring

Installed Kentwood stereo now speedometer don't work. What did I do wrong. I turn the
volume up and the speedometer goes up to 100 while cruising at thirty mph

Did you use an installation kit or hack the harness up? Inspect your work.

Is the speedometer analog needle or digital readout, and does the odometer run faster when the speedo shows 100?

I really wonder about guys that ask for help then won't work with us, Yesterday I was trying to help a guy and we had a back-and-forth for an hour..never did solve but that's how to get 'er done
