96 cavaliers wont start back if hot,

Asked by Sharpte Jan 21, 2017 at 03:53 PM about the 1996 Chevrolet Cavalier Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When you cut the car off, it don't want to start
back. I have put a new crank sensor in it. Its like it's
not getting the fuel or something. After its cut off &
started back.

Check for spark when this happens. Spark should be white in color. Usually when a vehicle will start after it cools down, it would be the ignition control module. I'd have that and the coil checked at an auto parts store before replacing.
