Need key made to fit dtearing volume I bought at junk yard

My ignition gotbroke out of
my 1996 Chevy camero.i was
told I needed to replace the
whole volume so I bought
one at the junk yard. Problem
is no key to it. I have the old
key to the old stearing  
colume still but need a key
that will start my car with the
volume I bought. Haven't
switched columes yet,
wanted to find out how to go
about getting a  key that will
start it once its switched first.

Thanks iam aware of lock Smith's. Still not certain key will start my car. There are different sensors etc that have to be set to actually work right.

Bypass security portion and you can use your old one still. Way less work. http://www.diy-gm-security.com/
