It is easiest if it is empty, But there are two metal straps (you SHOULD replace them once you remove them ($40). If you get a Haynes manual, it has all the deatailed instructions in it. But First support the gas tank, remove the two metal straps, lower fuel tank about 3 inches, dissconnect the fuel lines, noting where the lines go, makes instalation a lot easier, There is a "lock" ring that holds the fuel pump in, turn it with a light hammer and punch (light taps). reverse to install, I would recommend that you pick up a haynes manual, Best of luck.

Actually my blazer was in the cold it got warm.then it rained. Then it froze now it won't start
