Did you put the fuel filter in the right direction? Happened to me once.

Replaced the fuel filter and drove for a bit and it died! And now it will turn over but it will not start!!!

I have a 1997 cavalier. I was riding down the road last week my car was running fine. When i came to a red light my car died, but started right back up. When i tried to give it gas it would would die. 1 Answer

it still starts but when i put it in gear it just dies. IVe only changed the the fuel filter and checked the injectors and the injectors are fine. I dont wat else it could be someone please help.
