cavalier 2000 2.2l it starts n runs good to work,but when its time to go home it wont start,it dont have any power nothing lights up,i have to disconnect hot side battery cable n wait a min then reconnect n it will start with no problem it happen twice in a week something going out

repairs so far ,i replaced coils n computer it starts on a dime !crank n cam

See if u have battery fuse on ur positive cable n if not the terminals need cleaning or a loose cable

can it b starter going out were the hot side battery cable connects to ?

I wiggled the starter 4 wires n it starts n run good ,so I replaced the 4 wires ,1 of them I had to splise thick purple wire but it runs good n no problems ,woot thanks all

Hello I have a 2001 chevy cavalier and yesterday morning I tried to start my car and turned over the key and it did absolutely nothing.
