2002 Beetle Turbo S 1.8l 6spd passenger side cv axle

Asked by GuruCDRWN Feb 03, 2019 at 05:08 PM about the 2002 Volkswagen Beetle Turbo S

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2002 Beetle Turbo S 1.8l 6spd passenger side cv axle was recently replaced with what I was told was the correct cv axle for the application. However, the new cv axle looks nothing like the original. The original CV has the following stamp on it(1 J0 407 331 D), which I understand is a VW number.
