99 lumina not starting after engine is hot

Asked by Jared Sep 30, 2014 at 03:39 PM about the 1999 Chevrolet Lumina Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My lumina began displaying issues in early
summer. I have changed out the plugs and
wires, EGR sensor, crankshaft position
sensors. I drive back from work, about 45
minutes, it works fine. But if I park it after it
won't start fit an hour or so. Everything
seems to be turning over like normal. It's
almost like the gas isn't reaching it during
this time. After it cools for about an hour it
cranks normally

My daughter has a 97 Lumina and she has to warm it for about 15 minutes before it'll move why
