Power steering resivour BMW Z3 2000

Asked by Jan 10, 2017 at 02:42 AM about the 2000 BMW Z3 2.3 Roadster RWD

So I'm not sure if it is the tube connecting at the
bottom of the resivour but it's leaking guys and it
made a mess I'm not sure how to go about it and I
thought why not ask on here so I would kindly
appreciate if I can get some feedback will post
pictures if needed too thank you

The bottom hose does get soft after some time. If it's just around the clamp area, you can drain the reservoir, then snip off the OEM clip, cut an inch off the end of the hose and reconnect with a new worm clamp and refill with ATF. If it's further down, you need to replace the bottom hose. To remove on the other end you need a special tool to remove. Then start car and turn lock to lock to get air out of the system and recheck fluid level.
