1999 Cavalier

I have a 1999 Chevy
Cavalier it was running
perfectly about 3 days
ago i noticed it
starting different.
Yesterday i was on my
way to work and i
heard a ticking noise
then a couple miles
down the road the car
broke down. It will
crank but wont start.
What could be the
proublum and is this a
easy fix?

Well no i didn't hear where the ticking was coming from. Once i would push the gas it wouldn't gain speed.

if its a 2.2 ecotech there known for timing chain guides breaking up and timing jump unfortunately if that is what happened the engine will have excessive damage.
