What is the difference between fenders for a 88 Celica Convtable and Coupe?

Asked by threefeetpete Jun 14, 2007 at 08:49 AM about the 1988 Toyota Celica GT-S Convertible FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Looking to replace a fender for an 1988 Celica Convertable.  We can find replacements for a Coupe of the same year, but not for the convertable.  What are the differences between them?

Great sign-in threefeetpete! If I am a betting man, I am saying at least the front fenders are the same on both trims. You may run into problems with the rear ones however. In any event you should be asking your local junk yard/salvage guys. They are the kings of jury rigging. Good luck!
