What is the stock engine on a 94 Celica GT hatchback? One or several? Same as coupe?

Mine's a manual, 2.2, but  repair manual lists terms like DOHC, SOHC, 5S-FE, 7A-FE,
etc. Not sure what these terms mean.

All 6th Generation (1993 to 1999) GT Hatchback Celicas have the 2.2Liter 5S FE SOHC (Single Overhead Cam) ☞ In the US and Canada that is☜ But California "package" had 20hp less than 49 States and DC

According to http://www.toyotacelicaonline.com/6thgen.htm ... STs had 7A-FE (1.8l), and GTs had 5S-FE (2.2l) engines. Both were DOHC.
