I have a s-10 chev reg cab I would like to know what to check to get my fuel gague to work.

Make sure there is power up at the gauge, then usually you'll find the problem with the sending unit in the gas tank.

If the gauge always reads full it's a bad power wire. If it always reads empty it's a bad ground wire. Check the wiring going to the gas tank and the connector at the fuel pump at the gas tank. The gas gauge sending unit is part of the fuel pump assembly. HTH. -Jim
