Transmission switch from auto to manual

Can i switch from automatic
transmission to a manual in a 2006
ford f150 2wd with a 4.2l motor?? And
how complicated  and expensive is it??

I'm not sure exactly on your truck, but you would have to source a manual transmission, a driveshaft, pedals, shifter and a new PCM from a donor truck or you can buy new. If you are having someone do the install, plus programming, figure around $3 to $5K range, ask around for pricing. I always recommend selling your automatic truck and buy a manual as it will be cheaper and less aggravation.
