Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm driving the truck and when I go
like 45 it starts making a weird noise
and you have to let off the gas and
push back on and then it stops but
sometimes it doesn't stop it's a slip
in the transmission

I'd take a look at the linkage...make sure it's seating into gear properly...also check the transmission mounts for crackin' and slippage~

We replaced the motor mounts and checked the linkage and we checked the transmission mounts too

The mechanic looked at it and it's something electronically because if we unhook the battery for a while then plug it back up it works fine

It could be your cruise control causing the problem
