What's wrong with my truck?

Asked by Krazie Jan 04, 2021 at 04:28 PM about the 2001 Ford F-150 XLT SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2001 f150 4.6L. Recently when driving i
experienced no acceleration when starting from a stop.
This was after i had been driving for a few hours. I parked,
let the truck cool and then it ran fine until it warmed up
fully. Never threw a code. Changed fuel pump and filter,
TPS, plugs and coils. Truck started fine. Drove for about
45 minutes. Then went to start from a stop and thr truck
sputtered and died. Now it won't start until it cools. Then it
starts, idles so rough the truck rocks side to side then
dies. Still no codes. Any ideas?

I must add, the last time i had an issue it was a misfire in cylinder 5. Truck drive 1500 miles before it threw a code.
