Starting problem with 2000 Ford F-150, 4.6L, 4WD

Asked by Saruski Jun 10, 2016 at 01:10 AM about the 2000 Ford F-150 XLT 4WD Extended Cab SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2-1/2 years ago my car wouldn't start.  Engine cranked over fine & had half
tank of gas.  Tow truck driver tried starting it using starter fluid but still no go.
The next day it started right up & has been running fine every since until this
week when the same thing happened.  Any thoughts?

While its in a 'no start' condition you need to first check for spark at spark plugs and for gas & gas pressure. This will isolate problem system. Once it starts you won't have opportunity again. Than go from there. I had same type of problem.
