I have a 2008 Ford F-150 4x4 lariat. It is an automatic transmission with the shifter between the driver and passenger seats.

Have you checked the linkage under the truck?

i have the same problem. it wont go out of park. car starts fine. then if i turn the car on and off a few times. then the shift will work. its like the button on the shifter is nonresponding

Car Ford F150 2008 will start but will not go out of park or into any other gear but ran fine yesterday
