Pumping three times and holding, then bleeding through the bleeder valve. Any other suggestions?

Yes,dont, pump it,it is a free bleeder, have some one hold the pedal down, open slave bleeder.let fluid free flow through it,do this several time,s and make sure to keep fluid in master cyclinder, all ways shut valve when checking fluid and dont release pedal until the valve is tight.By bleeding like brake,s you let air in to it.
