Key fob wont unlock my 2003 Chevy trailblazer. Changed battery in fob already.

The fob will not lock or unlock the doors.  Changed battery in fob.  About the
same time this started, the back wiper blade stopped working too.  Is there a
fuse that may need to be replaced?

Ihave the same year and make and the same issues started recently too. was told to check a blue wire in back/gate door. The defrost stopped as well. Still haven't tried myself but will this weekend.
