03 chevy suburban i drive it dies an if its cools down will restart an go

What would make it do this? It does have high
miles on it.

My first two suspects would be the ignition control module or the ignition coil. In that order. Sometimes when these get hot they'll break down and fail. Then when they cool off the engine runs fine again. Hope that helps! Jim
