1991 Chevy Suburban (starts and dies)

Asked by Steven May 09, 2017 at 03:27 PM about the 1991 Chevrolet Suburban V2500 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have 1991 Chevy Suburban that doesn't want to run. It
starts and then dies within a few seconds. It will do this a
couple of times and then it won't start at all. Any ideas?

I would check the Distributor Cap and Rotor. The seal that keeps water out of the Cap will crack and crumble after many years of heating up and cooling down. This would be an inexpensive and and easy fix. Best of luck!
